Getting to and from the trail

• Start in Kuyruchuk with lunch, then ride to Ichki Jailoo. The route finishes in a different village, Kyzart; a return to Kuyruchuk is not part of the programme.
• On day 2, ride from Ichki Jailoo to Song-Kul, have lunch by the lake and spend the rest of the day at the camp. The published programme does not specify a riding duration for this day.
• On day 3, the lakeside ride and lunch are followed by a pass crossing and descent to Kyzart. Agree your expected arrival and driver meeting before booking onward transport.
• Before confirming, agree your Kuyruchuk meeting point, the destination and cost of transport from Kyzart, guiding language and group arrangements. Tell the team about your riding experience.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Kuyruchuk Village — Ichki Jailoo

   Meet in Kuyruchuk Village for a traditional Kyrgyz lunch, then prepare the horses. Ride for over four hours through mountain valleys and alpine meadows to the remote Ichki Jailoo yurt camp. Enjoy a home-cooked dinner and an overnight yurt stay. Included: lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

2. Day 2

   Ichki Jailoo — Song-Kul Lake

   After a traditional breakfast, continue on horseback over highland pastures towards Song-Kul Lake. Lunch is served at a yurt camp by the shore, followed by free time to relax, walk or take in the alpine landscape. Traditional dinner and a yurt night beneath the stars. Included: breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3

   Song-Kul Lake — Kyzart Village

   After breakfast, take a scenic five-hour ride along the shores of Song-Kul. Following a final lakeside lunch, cross a mountain pass with sweeping views of Jumgal Valley before descending to Kyzart Village, where your driver meets you for the onward transfer. Included: breakfast and lunch.
